- Register and clean the capture, documenting coverage gaps honestly rather than interpolating over them.
- Agree a modelling tolerance up front and report deviation against it, element by element.
- Model existing conditions to that tolerance, flagging anything outside it for site verification.
- Issue 2D documentation generated from the model so drawings and model never disagree.
