Share standards early
Provide a sample set, naming conventions, templates, coordinate requirements and the required level of detail or information. Explain the intended use of the model.
Set review milestones
Review a small representative sample before scaling production. Consolidate comments and establish a clear revision process so the team works from one current set of instructions.
Make delivery usable
Confirm software versions, linked-file handling and folder structure. Allow time for the receiving team to check that files open and fit its workflow.
