Start with the intended use
An asset for a product close-up and one for a real-time scene have different constraints. Define the purpose, references, scale and delivery format before choosing production tools.
Automate selectively
AI-assisted tools can support reference exploration, texture preparation and repetitive tasks. Their suitability depends on the source material, the tool and the client’s requirements. Use them where their output can be meaningfully checked.
Make review explicit
A specialist should review topology, dimensions, material behavior and visual consistency. A convincing image is not evidence that the underlying model is technically correct.
Keep control of inputs
Agree which tools may process project information. Confidentiality, ownership and client restrictions should guide the workflow before any source file is shared.
