01

Provide the source of truth

Share the latest design drawings, dimensions, material specifications and relevant details. Flag missing information rather than asking a production team to infer it.

02

Define interfaces

Identify adjoining surfaces, hardware, installation constraints and coordination requirements. Distinguish confirmed dimensions from dimensions that need site verification.

03

Clarify approval responsibilities

Agree who reviews the drawings and who authorizes fabrication. Production support should not silently replace the appointed designer’s or engineer’s approval.

04

Review a representative detail

Use a sample to align annotation, scale and drawing conventions. Resolve recurring comments before applying the approach to a full set.
